This is wear on the winding pinion. The winding pinion is the gear that turns the crown when winding the watch by hand; the gear on the left is worn out, and the gear on the right is dead stock. If the torque of the mainspring is strong, it takes more force to wind the watch, but if you wind the watch without maintenance, the teeth will wear out and be worn down. If the teeth wear out, the winding will slip and the watch will no longer be able to be operated. This time, we were able to obtain dead stock parts, but there are very few old parts available.
The mainsprings are also cleaned and reassembled. If the mainsprings are difficult to obtain, we will clean them and use them again. Mainsprings for vintage chronographs and other items are imported from overseas, so we will quote you separately for these.
Assemble it.
I assembled it. The structure is simple because it is a hand-wound watch. Rubies are used for the bearings that are likely to wear out, such as the barrel and first bridge, so it can be used for a long time. However, even if the bridge is made of ruby, the gear shaft will wear out, so regular maintenance is necessary.
