ROLEX SUBMARINE CAL.3135 Rolex overhaul

Rolex Submariner: Reference 16613 Caliber 3135

Symptoms: Poor accuracy (delay)

Repair contents: Overhaul, spring and gasket replacement, case and bracelet light polishing, water resistance test (20 bar)

Repair cost: 33,000 yen

I disassembled it and cleaned it. The Submariner is a model that I receive a lot of requests for, just like the Explorer. This Submariner has a combination case and bracelet, and the dial is sapphire, making it a luxurious design even for a sports model.

I assembled it. I have introduced the overhaul before, so I will keep it brief. The 3135 is a very complete movement and there are not many parts that are prone to breaking.

This is the back side. Occasional problems include wear on the receiver of the small iron wheel on this side, and the crown being difficult to operate, but this does not happen often.

The dial and hands are attached. The customer requested a light polish of the case and bracelet, so the total cost is 33,000 yen, including 27,500 yen for the overhaul and 5,500 yen for the light polish. We do not recommend polishing sports models, but we can do it if you wish. Polishing will inevitably cause the watch to droop (change its shape), so I think it would be fine to just clean it.

This is a simple blog, but I hope you find it useful. I will update it again.
