[Description]

Constellation is Omega's luxury line, featuring a dressy design and high-precision movement.

Currently, the collection has a design that is more like a dress watch.

Among vintage Omegas, this watch is as classic as the Seamaster, and the one with the case shape known as the C-line case is particularly famous.

This case design spread the fame of watch designer Gerald Genta, who also designed Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak and Patek Philippe's Nautilus.

"Designs that get caught on shirt sleeves are not good." This philosophy is reflected in the watches he designs.

Equipped with a high-precision automatic movement, the Constellation is a special model that features an observatory engraved on the back, which is a symbol of high precision.

This watch has a case material called gold cap (also called cap gold), which is made of stainless steel with a thin plate of 14K gold attached to it.

The gold plating is very thick, at 200 microns; the later commonly used gold-filled (GF) gold plating is about 100 microns, while the gold plating called gold plate (GP) is 20 microns, making it 10 times thicker and highly resistant to peeling.

It's not as good as solid gold, but compared to plating it looks much more gold and has a very luxurious feel.

The movement is the chronometer-certified automatic Cal.1011. It is an improved version of the previous generation Cal.564, with a thin, high-beat design and a hacking function, making it a highly practical machine.

The date can be advanced by pulling the crown out one notch. (When doing so, we recommend setting the time to around 6 o'clock to reduce the risk of damage.)

The watch also comes with a genuine gold-capped bracelet. It fits wrists up to 17-18cm.
