[Description]
One of the most important models in the history of Citizen is the Homer, which was released in 1960.

It was a mass production model that used robotic assembly instead of the manual assembly that had been used up until then.

In 1965, Homer was adopted as the wristwatch for Japanese National Railways and was used until 1987, when the railway was privatized as JR.

The Homer Date watch was released in 1962 and added a date function to the Homer.

This watch features an engine turned bezel, a stainless steel bezel with ridges and grooves that are polished to a mirror finish every five minutes.

The name "Engine Turned" comes from the technique of creating geometric or regular decorative patterns on metal surfaces using a lathe.

It is also said to be modeled after an aircraft engine, and the design has been seen on Rolex watches since the 1960s.

This watch was produced in 1971, so it's possible that he was inspired by Rolex watches of that time.

And there is an engraving of Cupid on the back cover. It is said to be rare, but it is not clear why it is engraved with Cupid.
