[Description]
Yule Jurgensen was originally founded in Denmark in 1740.
Urban Jurgensen & Sonner is an ultra-luxury watch brand that is used by the Danish royal family.
Urban Jurgensen's father was Yul Jurgensen, meaning that father and son had separate watch brands.
The brand was later transferred to Heuer in 1920 and to an American company in 1936, and began manufacturing watches for the American market. As the dial of this watch has "R SWISS" written on it, the movement and dial are also Swiss-made.
The waterproof screw-back case is equipped with a rotating bezel for divers. It is small at 38mm, which is just the right size for Japanese people.
The black dial has a design called a bombe dial, which gently curves outward. If you look closely, you can see that the tips of the hands are also slightly curved.
The outer circumference has a tachymeter and telemeter, and the left in-dial has a small second and the right has a 45-minute counter. 45 minutes is quite unusual.
The red part of the counter accentuates the matte black dial, giving it a casual impression.
The bar hands are thick and the bar indexes are positioned towards the inside, giving the watch an overall tightly packed design.
The movement is Landeron 248. The stopwatch starts at the top and stops and resets at the bottom.
