The iconic Tudor Submariner features a shield, Mercedes hands, and rimless indexes. Made in 1989.

Although it is a relatively new vintage piece, the triple-wound bracelet makes it an attractive piece.

[Description]

This is a Tudor Submariner released in 1989. The second hand is a lollipop hand, and the hour hand is a Mercedes hand (Benz hand).
The tritium luminous paint and the rimless index type, which has no metal frame around it, are unique to vintage divers.

At the time, there were three models of the Submariner: the 79090, the 36mm 75090 known as the Boys Sub, and the 33mm 73090 known as the Mini Sub.
Each comes in two colors, black and blue, and the blue one is nicknamed "Ao Sub."

The shield mark, which is Tudor's current symbol, is located at the 12 o'clock position on the dial, and the triple winding bracelet also features the same shield mark.
On the other hand, the case back and crown have the Rolex crown mark.

Since the 1990s, with the demise of the Submariner, Tudor has stopped using Rolex parts and switched to its own parts.
Therefore, it can be said to be one of the last Tudor models to incorporate Rolex elements.

[Warranty]

Overhauled at our shop in January 2019. The windshield, gasket, and inner bezel were replaced during the overhaul.
