[Description]

One of Omega's most famous models is the Seamaster. It is the name given to a waterproof watch that was introduced in 1948.

The case back is marked with an engraving of a seahorse, a legendary sea creature that symbolizes waterproofing.

There are various designs available, and this watch is quite dressy, with a gold round case and a champagne-colored dial that has aged with time.

The dial features cross lines (called crosshairs in English) which add an accent.

The movement is the automatic Cal. 501, which later became the basis for the Cal. 5xx series that was used in models such as the Constellation Chronometer.

It comes with a genuine windshield with the Omega mark in the center.
